With a total population of about 12 million, Mexico is home to the most volcanoes in the world, making it one of the world’s biggest hotspots.
But that’s only part of the story, as the country’s geology is changing and its environment is changing as well.
As the nation transitions to a more environmentally friendly and energy efficient economy, the environment and its people are also on the move.
